FUN FOR MID-SOUTH FAMILIES AT MR. CHUCK'S MUSIC PICNIC
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – WKNO is bringing music to your ears with Mr. Chuck’s Music Picnic on Saturday, June 6, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the lawn of the WKNO studios, located on the South Campus of The University of Memphis at Park and Getwell. This fun family festival is hosted by the beloved Mr. Chuck, star of WKNO/Channel 10’s Hello, Mr. Chuck! television show.
Children will enjoy a variety of musical styles by local performers and entertainers on stage on the lawn of the WKNO studios. Kids will get a chance to meet Mr. Chuck and other PBS Kids personalities, and they'll have lots of opportunities to explore their creativity with arts & crafts and other fun-filled activities. Mr. Chuck’s Music Picnic is sponsored by CoverKids/Cover Tennessee, ensuring that children throughout the state have access to health care.

"We share Mr. Chuck's commitment to children and believe this is a great way to let families know about our program and how their children can get free, comprehensive health insurance."
For a musical, foot-stomping good time, parents and families are encouraged to bring a blanket, lawn chairs and a picnic lunch. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
